The Spring is our entry-level under-sink system. It takes the water already coming into your kitchen and runs it through four stages before it reaches a dedicated faucet.
What it actually does
Water passes through a sediment filter that catches dirt, rust, and particulate. Then a carbon block that removes chlorine and the taste and odor that come with it. Then the reverse osmosis membrane — this is the stage that does the heavy lifting, removing the large majority of dissolved solids including lead, arsenic, nitrates, and bacteria. Finally a granulated active carbon inline filter polishes the water before it reaches your glass.
Output is 100 gallons per day, held in a storage tank under your sink so it's available on demand.
Who this is right for
Households buying bottled water for drinking and cooking. If you're spending $40–80 a month on bottled water, this system replaces that entirely. It's also a sensible choice for renters or first-time buyers — it installs under the sink without touching your main plumbing.
Who this is not right for
If your problem is scale on your fixtures, dry skin after showering, or buildup inside your water heater — the Spring will not fix any of that. It treats one faucet. Whole-house problems need a whole-house system, and we'll tell you that during the visit rather than selling you something that won't help.
Honest note on filtration claims
RO systems are commonly advertised as removing "99% of contaminants." That figure varies by contaminant, by membrane condition, and by source water. What we can tell you is that RO is the most effective point-of-use technology available for dissolved solids, and that all our components carry NSF certification. What it removes from your water depends on what's in your water — which is one of the things we determine during the consultation.
